Building Your Home

Once your Eastforest home proceeds to construction, a dedicated and experienced team of construction professionals will ensure that your home is built to the highest standard possible. This is the most exciting period, where you can actually witness your new home taking shape. The construction of your home will go through hundreds of discrete stages and involve the labour of dozens of people.

We will schedule two visits with you, where you'll be provided with proper safety gear with the exception of steel-toed footwear. The first visit is a Pre-Drywall Inspection, a guided introduction to your new home and viewing of its components prior to drywall installation. Your Site Supervisor or Site Administrator will walk you through your:

  • Framing Components
  • HVAC & Heating System
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
  • Bell, Cable & Central Vac
  • Your Added Customizations

As thrilling as this time is, due to insurance and liability issues, we cannot allow impromptu site visits to your home. You may, however, request up to two additional site visits, during which you will be escorted by your Site Supervisor or Site Administrator. For timely updates on the progress of your Eastforest home, you can always rely on your Site Team as your single point of contact.

Just before possession, you will meet with a member of our Customer Services Team, who will take you on an orientation of your newly constructed Eastforest home to familiarize you with the care and operating systems of your new home. At this point, any small items that remain outstanding will be noted for later rectification.
