DRAFTSPERSON/ ESTIMATOR
The successful candidate would be primarily responsible to alter base design drafting plans for permit application & alter base plans for sold options for construction. The candidate will have a post secondary school diploma/degree in architectural technology with their BCIN or working toward their BCIN and OBC courses. The candidate must have basic knowledge in construction & construction documents, a working knowledge in architectural styles & local design trends, of municipal zoning by-laws, & development schedules for the purposes of developing design & working drawings programs. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD 14 and Soft Plan 13. The candidate must have a thorough knowledge of construction materials & processes, experience in reviewing architectural plans, confirming and/or configuring take-offs of estimates for production of base house and purchased upgrades.

PROJECT MANAGER
Reporting to the Land Acquisitions Manager, the Project Manager is primarily responsible to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to the deadlines and within budget. This includes providing overall management, administration & technical direction for one or more projects. Enforces company and project policies, main client interface, & ensures project is constructed in accordance with design, budget & schedule through subordinate managers/supervisors. Performs all responsibilities in accordance with the company's values and beliefs

  • Educational and experience requirements include engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training plus 5 years experience/knowledge of construction, design, finance and management required
  • Superior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence etc.) skills essential.
